Reflecting Anatolia’s centuries-old tradition of handicrafts, this unique rug was entirely handwoven before 1980. Woven from natural wool and cotton yarns, the rug has been processed using traditional techniques, then shorn and cleaned to give it a modern vintage look. Each piece is unique; neither its color nor its pattern resembles that of any other rug. Woven using weft and loop techniques with a width of 22 knots per 8 cm and a length of 28 knots, it took 4–6 months of labor to complete.

Despite being approximately 40 years old, its natural texture and colors have been preserved, and no artificial alterations have been made. It has been carefully trimmed and cleaned and is ready for use.
