It is made of wool and cotton. Additionally, it has been trimmed, sheared, and washed in a modern vintage style. No machines were used at any stage of the weaving process. It has 22 knots per 8 cm in width and 28 knots per 8 cm in length. The weaving process took an average of 4 to 6 months. Furthermore, various techniques were used depending on the region, such as “weft knitting” for the border decorations and “side loop knitting.” Since rugs of this type are handwoven, it is impossible to find an exact duplicate, though similar ones may exist in terms of color and pattern. For this reason, this rug is one-of-a-kind. The rug has been used with great care and is in excellent condition. After selection, it was shorn and cleaned to prepare it for reuse. Additionally, the rug is completely natural—it has not been repaired, reshaped, or dyed. Although it dates back approximately 40 years, it has a modern appearance. Cleaning Instructions: Do not beat or beat the rug while cleaning. It should be vacuumed daily using a brushless attachment. Wipe it down with a soft cloth using natural soap or carpet shampoo. Detergents containing chemicals and harsh cleaning tools such as brushes can damage the rug’s structure. The water temperature used for cleaning should not exceed 30 degrees.
