[specs] Yarn: Wool & Cotton Origin: Anatolia Anatolia Series Rug: This is a completely hand-woven rug made in Anatolia before the 1980s. It is made of wool and cotton. Additionally, it has been trimmed, sheared, and washed in a modern vintage style. No machines were used at any stage of the weaving process. It has 22 knots per 8 cm in width and 28 knots per 8 cm in length. The weaving process took an average of 4 to 6 months. Furthermore, various techniques—such as “weft weaving” for the border decorations and “side loop weaving”—were used, varying from region to region. Since rugs of this type are handwoven, it is impossible to find an exact duplicate, though similar ones may exist in terms of color and pattern. For this reason, this rug is one-of-a-kind.

Condition
of the Rug: The rug has been used with great care and is well-preserved. After selection, the rug was shorn and cleaned to prepare it for reuse. Additionally, the rug is completely natural—it has not undergone any restoration, reshaping, or dyeing. Although it is approximately 40 years old, it retains a modern appearance. CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS Do not beat or shake the rug while cleaning. It should be vacuumed daily using the brushless attachments of a vacuum cleaner. It should be wiped with a soft cloth using natural soap or rug shampoo. Detergents containing chemicals and harsh cleaning materials such as brushes can damage the carpet’s structure. The water temperature used for cleaning should not exceed 30 degrees. Spilled liquids should be blotted up with an absorbent cloth. Stains must be treated immediately. After cleaning, the carpet should be dried as soon as possible. For general cleaning, carpet washers can be used, or assistance can be sought from professional services. Protect the carpet from direct sunlight. To prevent crushing, items placed on the carpet should not be left in the same spot for long periods; their positions should be rotated. When not in use, the carpet should be rolled up and stored in a dry environment.
