Unique Hand-Woven Vintage Rugs from the Anatolia Series This collection consists of vintage rugs that are 100% hand-woven and feature a completely original style. Inspired by Anatolia’s rich cultural heritage, these rugs bring the elegance and grace of the past into the present. Produced using a 100% wool distressing technique, these rugs blend classic, modern, and vintage styles. Additionally, woven with special vintage distressing techniques, each one is unique and extraordinary. Drawing inspiration from Anatolia’s past, these rugs were produced entirely by hand before the 1980s. Woven from wool and cotton yarns, their modern patterns are meticulously crafted, trimmed, and washed. Each rug is produced using traditional hand-weaving methods. Each weaving process is carried out with a density of 22 knots per 8 cm in width and 28 knots per 8 cm in length. This meticulous craftsmanship and labor ensure that each rug is completed in an average of 4 to 6 months. Additionally, the rug’s edges and details are finished using additional weft weaving and regional techniques. Since each rug is handwoven, it is unique, and it is rare to find two with exactly the same pattern and color. Therefore, each rug is a special and rare work of art. The rug’s condition has been carefully selected and restored. The rug has been carefully trimmed and cleaned, yet its natural beauty and texture have been preserved. No repairs or dyeing processes that would alter the rug’s original texture or color have been performed. Although these rugs date back approximately 40 years, they offer a modern and stylish appearance. There are some important points to keep in mind regarding the cleaning of the rug. The rug should be cleaned without beating or threshing. It can be gently vacuumed daily using a flat nozzle attachment. It should be wiped down with lukewarm water, natural soap, or rug shampoo, using a soft cloth. Under no circumstances should abrasive chemicals or harsh cleaners be used. The water used to clean the rug should not exceed 30 degrees. Spills should be immediately blotted with an absorbent cloth, and the rug should be allowed to dry quickly after stains are removed. For general cleaning, user-friendly machines that work like a professional cleaning expert can be preferred. To ensure the carpet’s longevity, it is important to protect it from direct sunlight. Additionally, the positions of items placed on the carpet should be changed periodically, and when not in use, the carpet should be rolled up and stored away from moisture.
